Dave attended primary and secondary school in the Pottstown School District and graduated in 1976. He received his postgraduate degree from The Hill School in 1977. Dave graduated from Ursinus College in 1981 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and European History.
In 1998, Dave established David G. Garner Law Office and has been self-employed since. With the exception of the time in school and the military, Dave has lived in the Pottstown area his entire life. He has been happily married to his wife, Nancy, since 1985.
Active as a volunteer in the Pottstown community, Dave has served on many organizational Boards including Creative Health Services, St. James Lutheran Church, Pottstown Cluster of Religious Communities, Mosaic Community Land Trust, Living Faith Lutheran Church, Daily Bread Community Food Pantry, Pottstown Active Adult Center and Pottstown Beacon of Hope.
